A TikTok creator has no email in their bio - how do you reach them?
Work through bio, link-in-bio pages, other platforms, official partnership channels and DMs to find a creator's public business contact, and record where each email came from. Includes how XT OS handles missing emails.
Work through the bio, link-in-bio pages, the creator's other platforms, official partnership channels and finally a direct message to find the contact details the creator has made public for business enquiries. Record where each email came from, and verify it before sending. Using only public business contacts respects creators and avoids privacy and compliance risks.
Where to look, in order
- Bio: many creators write "Business inquiries", "Collab", "PR", or "DM for collabs".
- Link-in-bio pages: on Linktree, Beacons or a personal site, look for Contact, Work with me, or a Media kit - media kits often list an agent or business email.
- Other platforms: the Instagram profile, the YouTube channel's About page, or the footer and contact page of a personal website.
- Official partnership channels: brands can use TikTok's official creator marketing platform (TikTok One); TikTok Shop sellers can invite or message creators through the affiliate tools in Seller Center.
- Direct message: if nothing else works, send a short DM explaining who you are and ask for a business email.
When working at scale
- Use public business contacts only - never private details obtained through non-public means.
- Verify before sending: invalid or mistyped addresses raise your bounce rate and hurt your sending domain's reputation.
- Record the source of every email (bio, Linktree, YouTube About page, via DM, and so on). It helps you trace bounces, decide which address to use when there are several, and hand work over within the team.
How XT OS handles missing emails
Some creators do not list contact details on their profiles. In XT OS, when a candidate has no email, the email can be filled in within the workflow with its source recorded, and the added information is kept in the activity history, so the team can see where an address came from when outreach continues.
Contact details are visible to the creator's owner, each creator has a single owner, and only the owner or an admin can draft and send emails - so the same address is not used by several teammates (see How to stop your team contacting the same creator twice).
Limitations
- No self-serve checkout: every account is reviewed and set up with a consultant. There is no free trial.
- When filling in emails, the "public business contacts only" principle above still applies.
- What happens in XT OS when a candidate has no public email?
- The email can be filled in within the workflow with its source recorded, and the added information is kept in the activity history.
- Can other teammates see an email that was filled in?
- Contact details are visible to the creator's owner.
